Reunion
My sixteenth birthday is in exactly twenty-six days.
I honestly don’t know what to make of it. On one hand, I might not get so many “You don’t look fifteen…” looks. On the other, that much more will be expected from me.
And on a completely different note, it means Caleb will finally tell his parents about me.
After a year, you’d think that wouldn’t bother me. But his dad’s wedding is at the end of the summer, and I’m Caleb’s Plus One. Mostly because we never get a chance to wear formalwear.
Life passes so quickly.
I got a wrong number call from the SCV reunion committee today. They were looking for a Judy who’s about to have her fortieth high school reunion.
I didn’t even know they had those…
